THE STORY

My name is Anna and I am the heart behind Qui Minimo.

I am so happy you are here!

Qui Minimo began with the entrance of an 18 year old girl into a cloister. After spending over two years as a Discalced Carmelite Nun in Northern California, having been assigned the job of hand-sewing Scapulars as a Novice, and being fully clothed in the Habit of Our Lady of Mount Carmel myself, I fell deeply in love with our Lady and her maternal love expressed through her Brown Scapular; her desire to swaddle her children and transform them into Christ her Son. ​

After leaving this community, the Mother Superior of a local Religious community gave me a box full of Brown Scapular materials that belonged to her own biological mother. She gave them to me and told me I had a mission, so I began sewing these Scapulars and giving them to loved ones before a greater invitation began to stir in my heart; to drape Mary’s mantle over as much of the world as possible, one Scapular at a time, and to draw as many of her children as possible into her maternal, swaddling embrace that she may transform them entirely in love – into Christ her Son.

I officially opened a shop on March 19th, 2020, on the feast of Saint Joseph, and consecrated Qui Minimo entirely to Jesus through Mary and Saint Joseph. It has since blossomed and taken flight in ways I would have never expected and has continued to expand and branch into new avenues of ministries (see below).

 

Next to running Qui Minimo and its unique ministry, I have been speaking and leading praise and worship for multiple years. After stepping away from these two avenues of ministry as a nun, I have since been actively responding to these once again. From youth, college, young adults, to marriage conferences, etc. the Lord has abundantly blessed this response of both speaking and leading worship.
